• I purchased this book after watching Le Prenom (What's in a name?). I was curious and I am happy I read the book, although it is not as grand as Patrick Bruel's character makes you believe. Still a good classic to put under your belt. In a nutshell, I would say this book illustrates some people's inability to ever be satisfied, to find happiness and content. At times cruel and pitiful, it is nonetheless a powerful book.

• Trop romantique pour ma part. J'ai de plus en plus de mal à lire ce genre d'histoires. Trop prévisible et il y a toujours quelqu'un qui finit mal comme dans "La Dame aux Camélias" d' Alexandre Dumas. Mais bon, j'ai relu l'histoire pour essayer de me rappeler de quoi il s'agissait.
